Today we will be leaving for Virginia to attend the TARC Team
Briefing and then the Finals launch tomorrow morning. I want
to thank each and every one of you for following our progress
and I hope you continue to follow along to see the results.
Again, if anyone is interested in attending the Finals, check
out the TARC website for the full details. There is free admission
to the public and it would be a wonderful event to spend on
your free Saturday. Thank you and wish us good luck!

After an uneventful month, we're back in action, preparing
for the finals in two weeks. We are hoping for all the support
we can get, so come out to a launch and cheer us on. Check
out our latest flights in the Past Launches page; don't forget
about the Photo Gallery either! Also, the finals (May 19 in
The Plains, VA) is a public event, so if you can make it,
we'd love for everyone to come check out the competition and
enjoy themselves for a day full of rockets and fun. Send me
an email if you're interested
in more details!

TARC has now officially posted the top
100 scoring teams in the country, along with the top 20
alternate teams. Each of those will be competing in the finals

to each of those teams who made it and for a job well done.
Also we would like to thank each and every one of you who
have helped us become on of those teams as well. We're going
to the finals!

Our first of two qualification flights took place this evening,
and although it didn't go as well as hoped, we are still confident;
read its story in the Past Launches page.

We've added a few more images to the Photo Gallery of our
January 27th flight, as well as an update and video to the
Past Launches page; be sure to check it out.
 JANUARY

With a break in the harsh wind and unfavorable conditions,
we finally got a chance to launch today. It was a spontaneous
launch that would help us determine our rough altitude. Although
most of you were unable to see it, a video is posted in the
past launches page. Make sure you check it out here.
 JANUARY
6, 2007
The latest launch went without any complaints, other than
the wind that is. It flew good but with an arc into the wind,
as was to be expected with the wind speed that we have here
at the house. Check out the updated log entries for more information
about the launch and our video of the successful flight.
 JANUARY
3, 2007
We launched the first revision of the rocket after our heartbreaking
initial flight. Fortunately, our planning and work paid off.
Check out the flight log in "Past
Launches".
